I'm guessing this is why your coaching career ended in the ESG Church League?

Then again, I guess you can just choose to sit back and whine about Fulmer and his 'secret witness' status. And people accuse me of being strong with the tinfoil-fu.
</div></div>
Show me were I have saida word about Fulmer or any other coach for that matter, and then maybe I'll acknowledge your post.
If UT had a defense, they might beat Bama..but come the Iron Bowl Bama will see all the Defense that UT is lacking and then some.
More like come the week after the Tennessee game, then we`ll see the best team in the nation, LSU. SEC teams have a hard road to travel.

The Iron Bowl is Auburn vs. Bama. Geez! At least know what you are talking about!
Lsu has the best D no doubt...but AU has more than enough to leave Bama shaking their heads again this year. One justification for hiring Saban was to beat Auburn...they should have just saved their money...ain't happening.
Hiring a coach to turn a program around doesn`t happen as soon as he steps onto the field. It takes a 2-3 years to get his recruits and style of play planted.

That is what he was reffering to, when he said that they would "see all the defense Tennessee is lacking", meaning that Auburn was gonna show them something.
Bama will get better...but AU has a young bunch again..and if Bama is gonna beat em in the next 2-3 years, they better get it done this year.
I figured I'd let that reply take care of itself...lol
If you look at how the season has played out. Bama doesn't look to tough. They lost at home to UGA then on the road to FL St. They barely beat an Ark. team that is in a tailspin, and barely get by Houston and Ol'miss. Their schedule and what they have done so far is not that impressive to me.
Granted Tennessee hasn't done much either. But they did drill UGA. And also beat a decent Miss. St team on the road. Lost to Cal and UF. Two pretty good teams and beat some cupcakes. But their is no doubt they have looked like a better team than Bama.
Saban is decent coach. Yea, he won half a NC at LSU. But no coach in the SEC will ever dominate. The leauge is to tough. Bama's hopes seem a little high to me.
Tennessee - 31
Bama - 17
Bama is young also. We have a lot of growing up to do.
We will lose 7 Sr`s all together on both sides of the ball after this year. We have a total of 11 fr and soph. starters on both sides of the ball as well.
In the SEC you can't compare scores against common opponents and get any idea of who will win on any given day. For example, LSU thrashed South Carolina...who in turn beats Kentucky pretty soundly...who in turn beat LSU in over time...Bama will give UT all they want and then some..but I think Bama has a better D than UT.
UTs O is much better than Bama's D. Bamas O is a little better than UTs D. Im going 34-17 Vols.

Based on what? Ark. shredded Bama. We gave up a ton of big plays agaist Cal and UF. Again two top five teams (or at least top five talented teams) We shut down UGA. Did Bama?
South Carolina played LSU pretty tough. Lsu got a fake field goal and some turnovers or its a different game. There is no doubt South Carolina, LSU, Kentucky, UF, and Auburn have pretty good teams. Tennessee and Bama still have to prove it.
But from watching both teams play Tennessee is more talented on both sides of the ball. But you are right that doesn't mean a win. You never know in the SEC. I just don't see them stopping Ainge and Foster, Hardesty if they can't stop UGA.
UGA is the only team UT has shut down this year.
Do you think UT wins?
Nope.
I don't think UT wins out but I do think they win Sat. I guess that is why they play'em.
This is a big game in my family. We live for the Bama/UT game. Out of all my family who are football fans it runs right down the middle, half Bama fans and the other half UT fans. Should be a good time of BBQ and refreshments.
I'm a Bama fan, but as of right now I do believe Tennessee has shown me they can come out and dominate for 4 qtrs. Bama has yet to do so. They dominated arkansas in the first half as well as Houston, but it seems as if they get a lead they let their guard down. Turnovers have also plagued us especially against Fl. St and Georgia. But just like every other SEC game, and especially since this is a rivalry. Throw everything out the window, stats, predictions, how a team has played to this point, how good an O or D is, etc... All of that stuff really means nothing in these kind of games.
Yeah, if it wasnt a 12:30 game I wouldn't mind rolling out my smoker and putting a boston butt on and fixing some BBQ.
Start at about 6 in the morning, and I will show up at game time
BS, I wont get home till 12:30 probably, so I am sleeping in as long as possible.
I believe I will be home slightly later than that. Y'all still planning on eating after the game?

Tennessee has struggled to in the fourth quarter. At least in the Cal and UF games.
To me there aren't many games bigger than this one in college football. I still remember watching Dale Jones pick off Shula and my Dad jumping up and down like a little kid. I remember Boddy Humpherys running all over us, I remember Little Man fumbling on the goal line twice giving games away and how sick I felt, and my favorite Peyton Manning to Joey Kent first play Touchdown pass.
This game may have lost a little national interest but to alot of people in Tennessee and Alabama. It don't get much better.
I have not missed a UT/Bama game at Neyland Stadium since I was a little kid. I always make it down for that game.
I hope Tennessee lights the sky up in the passing game! Bama will and I repeat will NOT stop Ainge and the passing game!!! You'll see
This is such a fun Saturday, I have alot of close friends that are Bama fans. Heres to an injury free game. Its usually the biggest game of the year around here, well next to Va Tech/William and Mary of course. Go Vols, Go UVA-Wise, Go Emory, and Go Boston College next week.

i would lay CASH MONEY down right now, and say give me five years, i could win a national title at UcheaT, phil fulmer is the biggest disgrace to SEC coaches since full facemasks and headgear.
Even you dont believe what your saying.

Fulmer owns Bama and you know it.
